Volunteers place an American flag on the grave of every veteran buried in Mountain View Cemetery as a reminder of the sacrifice paid for our freedom - a small gesture to honor those who gave their lives for their country.

    Amen. But we also need to remember that too many vets are "dead" to their loved ones when they return because we don't address their mental health issues. (Two of my uncles were so psychologically damaged that they were never the same.)
