Self Confinement

Not much crafting happening because I just don't have the desire or the energy. New Year's Eve found me snuggled in my PJs, watching a movie.

I am staying home and avoiding others as much as possible since I've been hacking and coughing for days. My throat is red and sore, and my voice is all but gone.

Hot tea seems to help, so I  have been drinking a lot.

The coughing seems to be worse at night, making sleeping with the CPAP difficult. I certainly hope this will run its course soon.

  4. I hope you are feeling better soon Nancy. I am still knitting away with your ribbed sock pattern you emailed me. I just love these Knitpick circular needles you steered me to. I think I'll order another pair and knit 2 socks on 2 circs at the same time. I am knitting for Valentines Day gifts. Get well soon!

  5. 0h NO! I hope you feel better soon. It's not fun having the hacky cough.

I love Paula's picture--it's like she is avoiding your cough germs. :-)

  6. I'm sorry you're sick, Nancy! I hope you feel better soon! If you have honey, mix it with your tea, or even just eat some with lemon. That helps me when my throat is starting to get sore!

  13. A head cold and a c-pap do NOT go together--ask me how I know! I like to drink tea with lemon when I'm sick, I'm not sure it helps, but my grandmother always made it for me. Can tea be a comfort food? Tonight I made homemade buttermilk bread and toasted it and spread it with some of that homemade jam I made. Ahhhhhh
